We kicked off class today watching a video called Jay-Z Water for Life which is about rapper Jay-Z's travels to Africa and his help with the global water crisis. We then moved into our stations activities (see below for links to these documents). There were 6 stations that covered the following topics: Station 1: Dissolved Oxygen Station 2: pH levels Station 3: Bio-indicators Station 4: Turbidity Station 5: Temperature Station 6: Discussion questions about Jay-Z Water for Life video Link to Video (you can also find this on YouTube) The following questions should be answered at station 6 in COMPLETE sentences on a separate sheet of paper and stapled to your station paper:
What is your opinion of the video? How did it make you feel? What was something new you learned from watching the video? Imagine your life if you lived in one of those villages Jay-Z toured, how would your life be different? What do YOU think can be done to help the world's water crisis?
