What a great week it has been so far. Today students completed their BIO poems. From what I have seen so far, my students this year are very creative and willing to try new things. I can't wait to read all of your poems and learn all about you.
REMINDER: If you did not finish your BIO poem, it is due TOMORROW. Be sure to get that turned in. Also, tomorrow is the last day to turn in all the papers you need to have signed by a parent and receive a 100% homework grade. If you turn in the papers late you will receive a 50%. Thanks for being so great this week. It is clear that each of you are here to work hard and succeed. See you tomorrow! Mrs. Kievit

WOW!!! Is all I have to say. I am SO incredibly impressed with each and every one of my students already. What a fantastic first day we had. I can already tell that it is going to be such a wonderful year in 8th grade Science!!
Today, we went over classroom procedures and expectations, as well as some school expectations. Safety procedures were also discussed and I stressed the importance of taking every drill, real or practice, seriously. Parents, any encouragement from you about following all directions during safety drills and procedures is greatly appreciated! I am looking forward to getting to know all of my students this year. We are already on a great path of success, moving towards that Science EOG at the end of the year. HOMEWORK: Students, don't forget to get ALL of your paperwork signed and turned in tomorrow. You will earn a 100% homework grade in my class for turning in your papers on time! Get some rest tonight and I will see you all bright and early in the morning! |
