Well folks, this is it! The last post of 2014!! It's crazy how time flies! Yesterday and today students got to act as an Epidemiologist and be a disease detective. You can find the activity HERE. They worked really hard on this assignment and seemed to really enjoy it. I had several students ask if we could do more activities like that. Tomorrow we will get to enjoy a great performance from our ARTS classes.
When we get back from the holiday break we will dive even deeper into our unit on pathogens and diseases and we will have a whole new set of vocab words to practice. For now though, I hope you all get plenty of rest over the break and enjoy the time off with your family and friends. I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Be safe and enjoy! See you in 2015!!!!!

Happy Tuesday!! Today students are going to explore the difference between prokaryotes and eukaryotes. Students will be required to use different resources to complete a Venn Diagram in their interactive notebooks comparing the similarities and differences between the two. We will also watch a video that helps explain the differences. Click HERE for that video.
Once students are completed with the Venn Diagram we will create one as a class using information they found from their research.
